Danby CE VC Primary School is one of the original eight founder members of the Esk Valley Alliance (EVA).

EVA is now a successful teaching school with over 30 member schools.

School Direct and Initial Teacher Training

Our Headteacher, Mrs Liz Orland,  is the lead professional within the alliance for Initial Teacher Training.

School Direct is a one year PGCE course which runs in partnership with York St John University.

You can train to be a teacher whilst working as a teacher in one of our many schools, local to you.
