School Uniform

School uniform helps to foster a sense of belonging among our school family and helps to encourage a sense of pride in our school. Uniform also promotes equality between children. We strongly encourage all children to wear school uniform when attending school and when attending organised school events outside of the normal school hours. Religious dress codes will be taken into consideration and respected.

Our School Uniform, as agreed following consultation with our parents is:

Red fleece - Optional

Red sweatshirt/cardigan/jumper

White or red polo shirt

Summer dresses are red and white gingham

Grey or black trousers/shorts/skirts

Black school shoes with a low heel or plain black trainers

P.E. Kit: 

1 pair plimsolls or trainers

1 pair plain black shorts

1 plain red T-shirt

1 dark pair jogging bottoms during the winter

PLEASE NOTE:

ALL the above items should be MARKED with the child’s name, this helps your child when they are getting changed for P.E. and also helps swift return of lost items.

Jewellery is not allowed to be worn for Health and Safety reasons following a directive from North Yorkshire County Council.

However, children are welcome to wear a watch and small stud earrings may be worn on a daily basis.  These items must be removed for P.E.
